AYURVEDA DIAGNOSIS
In Ayurveda the most important thing while diagnosing a patient is to find out the root cause creating a particular disease or the poor quality of life. The beauty of Ayurveda is that it is not focused only on treating the disease but to increase the life energy by purifying the system. Life energy is our immunity, our real health, our peace.
Ayurveda diagnosis is mainly based on:
History of patient:It includes history of present illness, past illness , family history, personal history Examination of the Patient:Ayurvedic Examination: It includes examination of: The pulse (Naadi Pariksha), Tongue, Marma points (special energy points), Gait (bodily movement), General appearance of the patient, Energy levels, Aura (life energy) Agni (digestive fire) , Constitution (Prakriti , body type), Breath Movements and Chakras. Systemic Examination: It includes examination of: Digestive System, Respiratory System, Heart and Circulatory System, Nervous System, Urinary System, Musculo-Skeletal System, Reproductive System etc.
